  I have arthritis in one knee and bursitis in the other.  Hal set up exercise programs for me that would strengthen the support systems to my knees and now I no longer need to use my cane!  He also noticed I had other issues associated with using my cane, i.e. wrist, shoulder, lower back and balance problems - and addressed and took care of those.  Hal is very knowledgeable and I would (and have) recommended him to friends and other people.  Some trainers have a lot of book learning but Hal has that AND a natural gift in helping to heal people.  I am grateful that he has helped me and know he can help you.

 I was told not to hire you to help me train for my 'first ever' bodybuilding show because
" What does a rehab trainer know about bodybuilding?" Well, my first show ended with me winning the Open Middleweight title in the Gopher State Championships, in my second show, six months later, I got leaner, thanks to you, and won the Open Lightweight title. in the North Star Open. Then, I went on to win the North American Natural Bodybuilding Lightweight and over 40 Midwest Regional titles along with the Women's Overall Championship. at the North Dakota  Regional show.
The next two shows, over the next two years, I took third and then second in the NANB National Championships in the women's over 40 division. The biggest surprise for me was finishing second in the National's, at the show in Mass., in the Women's Open Lightweight championships. There were some disappointed twenty year old's at that show.What a four year run!
I guess it is not what you knew about bodybuilding but what you know about the body that really counts. Thanks.

When I broke my leg this year, the orthopedic surgeon "sentenced" me to 5 months on crutches. Instead, I immediately called Hal and we started my rehab program. I apololgize for not listening to you when you changed the diagnosis I had been given , from an adductor issue to a possible hip (abductor) problem. I foolishly thought that this was a fairly cut and dry issue and how could someone (you) not agree with what the problem was. Boy, was I wrong! Long story short, I had  arthroscopic surgery on my hip and there is also severe osteoarthritis.

  I want to thank you for the very informative document on the "Stability Ball".  The article was both informative and easy to follow.  My wife Patti had me print out a copy so that she can use her Stability Ball more effectively.
